Hello! So, here is the skinny on me....
I am a graduate of Burkeville High School, the mighty class of 1983. I am a Mustang at heart and bleed blue through and through. I have been an educator for 21 years and this is my fourth year at BHS. I am blessed to be a part of what I believe is the BEST li'l school in Texas.
I have one son who is an engineer and a daughter in love who is an educator. I also have a 100 lb., six year old Golden Retriever named Ella who has stolen my heart! I love to read, sing, and cook! Faith, family, and friends are what my life is all about.
Giving kids knowledge and the confidence to strive for success is my aim as Assistant Principal. My passion is to continuously learn and lead at Burkeville ISD so that our district can be EXEMPLARY in every way!
The quote by C.S. Lewis sums up the challenge that we have as educators. Mr. Lewis writes, "The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles but to irrigate deserts." So, let's grab all that we have within us to drench our students with every resource available to quench their thirst to succeed.
