Stephanie Simmons joined the Mustang family in 2020. She graduated from San Jacinto College North Campus with her LVN license in 2009. She has been in the nursing field since this time and for the past twelve years she has worked in home health and nursing homes. When asked about her previous career in health care she said, "Through this, I have fulfilled my passion of caring for others, and have met wonderful people along the way." When asked about her time in BISD she stated, "I have had the opportunity to reach a different generation which has helped intensify my passion for caring for others. I absolutely love working with the students and staff at Burkeville ISD." She stated that the outpouring of donations from the community have been overwhelming. She is beyond thankful for all of the community support that she has received since joining our staff.
